About Casa Grande Ruins National Monument
An Ancestral Sonoran Desert People's farming community and "Great House" are preserved at Casa Grande Ruins. Whether a gathering place for people or simply a waypoint marker in an extensive system of canals and trading partners, the structures are a large part of the story of this site. Operating Hours
The monument is open 7 days a week, with the exception of being closed Juneteenth, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The gate closes 15 minutes prior to closing, with access for exiting the park still available on the outgoing side.

Getting There
Transportation is by private vehicle. The park is in Coolidge, Arizona, about an hour-long drive from either Phoenix or Tucson. From Interstate 10 take the Coolidge exits and follow the signs to the park entrance.

Hours: From July 6 through September 22, 2025, the park visitor center will close each Sunday and Monday, with passport stamps, brochures, and Jr Ranger books available on the visitor center patio. The park itself remains open seven days a week, 9am to 4pm. The gate closes 15 minutes prior to closing time. There is no access to any areas of the park after the gate closes. At closing time, visitors need to exit all areas of the park.
