Directions to Monocacy National Battlefield Park

Arriving from the North or West

If you are visiting from the North via U.S. 15 or from the West such as Hagerstown, your route will be through I-70 East. You will need to take Exit 54. As you come off the exit, keep to your right. You'll then make a left turn onto Rt. 355. Keep an eye out for the visitor center; it will be on your left-hand side.

Arriving from the East

Travelers coming from the East, including Baltimore, should use I-70 West. You'll need to take Exit 54. As you exit, keep to your left. Then, you'll make a left turn onto Rt. 355. Look out for the visitor center; it will be on your left.

Arriving from the South

If you're journeying from the South, like Washington, your route is along I-270 North to I-70 East. Take Exit 54 off I-70. Keep to your right as you come off the exit, then make a left turn onto Rt. 355. The visitor center will be waiting for you on the left.
