En Route to Oakland Plantation

Start off your journey to the captivating Oakland Plantation by hitting the road on I-49. Look out for Exit 127 labeled as Flora/Cypress and take that exit. Continue your journey eastwards on LA Highway 120, heading towards Cypress. When you reach LA Highway 1, cross over it and continue onto LA Highway 494. Keep your eyes peeled for the entrance pavilion and parking lot for Oakland Plantation, which is located on the left, approximately 4.5 miles east of Highway 1.

Exploring Magnolia Plantation

For those eager to explore the historic Magnolia Plantation, take I-49 and exit at Exit 119, labeled Cloutierville. Cross over LA Highway 1 and continue your journey onto LA Highway 119. Follow Highway 119 for approximately 1.1 miles. Keep an eye out for the visitor parking lot on your right, which is conveniently located just before the plantation store.
